Date #13 - Burgers - The Burger Lounge and feeding the ducks

N has been very busy at work lately so we've not had time for too many dates but on Sunday we were finally able to make some time for a proper date so we went to The Burger Lounge (902 Main Road, Eltham). N had heard great things about it and had wanted to go for ages so it was a no brainer.

I ordered the Beef Grande (pictured) and N had the Lounge Signature Burger and we split some onion rings which came with an aioli. Everything was absolutely delicious particularly the onion rings. The burgers were huge and by the end I nearly had a cramp in my jaw from chewing but definitely worth the trip out.

Afterwards we went to a nearby park and went for a long walk as well as brought some old bread and fed the ducks by the pond. Very relaxing, although the walking after eating so much probably wasn't the best order.

Cost:

The Burger Lounge: Lounge Signature burger $13, Grande Burger $13.50, Onion rings $5.80

Total cost: $32.30

Night of the week: Sunday

Date rating: 8.5/10

Verdict: The burgers were definitely delicious although not the healthiest option. Feeding the ducks though is a nice activity to add onto another date in the future and is also free.
